International long-term training course
“iNTERlinks”

In the development of the project of the long-term training course “iNTERlinks” JASMA, Association of Non-formal education in Lithuania and Youth Educational Centre FIALTA were actively involved. The training was organised for youth workers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine working with young people in intercultural context at local level with the main aim to gain competences and experience needed for intercultural learning and active/European citizenship.
Objectives of the course
- To create space for youth workers to share their personal and professional experience in living or/and working in intercultural context;
- To create possibilities for youth workers to experience and understand the intercultural learning as one of the ways of working with young people from different cultural backgrounds;
- To raise the awareness of youth workers on active/European citizenship and develop their understanding of this concept on personal and professional level, looking from national and regional perspective;
- To create learning possibilities for youth workers to gain competences in applying intercultural learning at local level work and promoting active/European citizenship of young people;
- To provide knowledge about YOUTH programme in particular Youth Exchanges as the instrument for intercultural learning experience and promotion of active/European citizenship of young people.
